After using the phone for a few days a few take away points is that the phone does not have the most powerful processor, hence the touch does not feel as smooth as i like. Considering its not a 1Ghz processor but only a 600MHz processor, i was hoping the battery to last longer but it does not. It gives me about 10hours standby time not too sure about talktime. Will surely be testing that our when i get more credit on this Digi prepaid number.
Now the screen, the device houses a 3.2″ HVGA TFT with capacitive touch which is a decent size. I personally would have preferred a slightly larger screen since its a touch screen and any tying would be via the on screen QWERTY keyboard, bigger screen means if you have monster fingers like i do.. It be easier to operate.
As far as the feel of the phone is concerned, i like the feel.. It feels solid, not “plasticy” like some of the phones in the market. Its all touch and there aren’t any active “real buttons” on the phone. The volume controls are parked in the usual place on the side and this phone is pretty much does not have many surprises and key functions are parked at like most other smart phones in the market .

Now what comes in the box? The packing is pretty neat! A small box with all that you need to run this device effectively.
It comes with :
- USB/Mini USB cable which you use for charging or transferring data.
- There is a 3pin plug which goes into the wall socket.
- There is hands free kit
- Product Manual
- The Garmin Asus A10 device
Now another important part of this device being a navigation device is the car kit :
Whats in the car kit :
- Windscreen mount
- Phone dock
Whats really cool about this kit is when you dock your phone , it automatically goes into landscape mode and the Garmin GPS is activated and ready to use. Very convenient!
Well this is just the specs and my innitial thoughts on the device, i will be looking the navigation and the phone as far as usabulity is concerned after i get my data activated on this Digi number. As usual im interested to know how this phone will fit into my life and the kind of usage that i have which hopefully will be useful for you to decide if its right for you as well 🙂
